had a discussion with Mr Azmy about the mypaper article today. i think he's a fantastic form teacher. really like how he tries his best to interact with us and keep things as informal as possible.

to say that i'm suprised that such an article was written would be a hell of a lie. we get this kind of flak alot anyway. yet there was something about this particular one that made it the talk of the school over the past few days. to say that it was prejudiced and severely taken out of context would be an understatement (I mean, yea ok we get the point, but you don't need to print an oversized version of our school crest coupled with obese font size 72 text and smack it on your cover page do you), but i wouldn't want any one stumbling upon what i've written here such that he or she may dedicate an entire edition of the paper to "honouring" the name of Raffles, so yea i'm not gonna go on. All I can say is that I finally understand why I hardly ever pick up this amazing paper, even though it's completely FREE, and is published in 2 LANGUAGES!!! Woah! 好酷喔！ :O

on a lighter note, it was hilariously awkward for every single one of us on wednesday. I personally was standing in the MRT train, seeing close to 10 people holding up the papers with the article staring straight in my face, and thanking god that i hadn't chosen to wear my RI PE Kit to the Cage that day. haha

merit cca raffles trail with sec 1s today. as time goes by im beginning to wonder whether we should continue being so nice to them. pretty obvious that some of them are beginning to climb atop our heads.

went for dinner after with sean, zhixuan, rich and shanzhi. after which the four of us pangseh-ed shanzhi and actually went back to school to play tennis. at 7pm. i guess the best part of the whole thing was when we played at the start without lights. became more of a test of who had the more powderful eyesight and concentration than who had better tennis skills. haha.

i think what was mentioned in class today was true. no matter what we do, people will always have something to say about us. it's part of the contract we signed when we entered this school.

it's just too bad we didn't read the fineprint.
