First, of Mr Shahrom. Possibly the most humorous teacher we have ever had. Definitely not as boring as your average history teacher. After today's lesson I thought I took the time to reflect on this. Packed with his infamous quotes like "I'll kill you until you die", he really never hesitates to let his cool and satirical humour stand out. One more thing, he is damn pro at jacking his pupils who misbehave, which common offenders like Abel should know pretty well by now.

First offender. Mark. In class quite long ago, Mark made a stupid and distracting joke, saying the Japanese had "ZERO(0)" Fighters. Haha, very punny mark -.- so you think the rest of the class would just go "lame" or something, but guess what. Mr Shahrom walked up to him, then went like "Haha so funny. I cant stop laughing.." in a comical way, then after suanning Mark repeatedly, got the support of the rest of the class, then went up to mark and said, "Damn jacked right?". Hilarious. Mark was damn pissed and gave his innocent look, but i'm sure he had a good laugh after that.

Second case. Wei Rong and Abel. They forgot to bring their worksheets, so Mr Shahrom made them sit beside him, and address him as emperor! (In accordance with our study on Jap Militarism. How fitting.) Then after they address him as emperor, they had to scream "BANZAI!". So let say Mr Shahrom went, "Abel can you switch of the lights please?", then Abel had to go, "Yes my emperor, BANZAI!" and raise his fists in the air. Damn Damn hilarious. We all had a really good laugh, Mr Shahrom, the rest of the class, Abel and Weirong alike.

Third case. Humans Room. Chester and Ken Tang, following that other members of the class. Chester and Kenneth Tang had laughed when Mr Shahrom said Mao (as in chairman mao), coz of a really sick reason you dont wanna know. So Mr Shahrom made Ken Tang stand up, turn around to face the class, and say Mao ZeDong to the class 10 times. Every time anyone laughed, that person would take over. It was damn funny. One by one pple in class continued the little chain thing, while I stayed away by burying my face and hiding my laughter. haha =D. Damn funny.

Fourth and most recent case. Abel and Yu Hsuen. Ultraman! basically mr shahrom was talking to us about seperation, and the Malay Ultras, so Abel and Yu Hsuen kept laughing about ultraman and stuff, so when Mr Shahrom got pissed, he made Abel and Yu Hsuen stand up and do an Ultraman sign, you know the one where u cross ur hands like a retard, for the rest of the lesson. Again, we all had a good laugh.

I think what's special about Mr Shahrom's scolding methods is, everyone has a good laugh, including the punished students themselves, and the students still learn from their mistakes. When other teachers scold they just get damn pissed, then the whole class is like quiet and moody and in no mood for the lesson.

Conclusion. Satirical humour is good in any class. Any setting. Yay for humour. lol.

Of Beatboxing. Today for assembly we had a performance by the Beats Society(something like that). No, it's not some charity organisation, but a hip-hop group kind of thing. It was damn fun(ny). Definitely audience participation wasn't lacking, with people going up there, dancing and making weird, sick sounds. Lol. and CHESTER went up! He was asked to do a rap along with a group of "beatboxers", including NIGEL FONG! Lol. He amused the audience with his usual cool stuff, but when he started rapping the whole 2P flipped in laughter. He was rapping our MOV script! Damn pro and damn funny. =D

But I must say the highlight of the show was their beatboxer, Zul Maestro or something like that. They say he is the numero uno beatboxer in S'pore, and boy did he live up to his name. The whole audience was completely taken aback by his performance lor. Damn pro! Really really really uber shockingly proded. What a gift that guy has. Even the teachers were enjoying themselves, especially Mr Shahrom who was like laughing, clapping and nearly falling off his seat in amazement. He still gots the teen in him. Lol.

Really really amazing performance. Really.
